Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using MyScripture, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Description of the service
MyScripture provides AI-assisted Bible verse translation into regional dialects, styles, and sociolects, along with tools to save translations, write journal entries, and follow reading plans. We do not guarantee that any translation is theologically perfect or suitable for a particular purpose.
Your account
You may sign in with an email address or a connected social account such as Google. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for any activity that occurs under your account.
Payments and subscriptions
Some features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled according to our refund policy and the terms of the payment provider.
Acceptable use
You agree to use MyScripture lawfully and respectfully. Do not use the app to generate harmful, abusive, illegal, or infringing content, or to interfere with the service or other users.
Your content
You keep ownership of the translations, journal entries, and other content you create. By using the service, you give us permission to store and display that content to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.
Intellectual property
The MyScripture name, logo, brand, and software are owned by MyScripture. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if required by law. You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time.
Disclaimers and limitations
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. MyScripture is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you did not pay.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised terms.
